Mrs. Madhuvanti Kanoria was born into a business family and graduated in Education (Hons.) from Loreto College, Calcutta.
She is currently the Policy Advisor at KPL International Limited and contributes to strategic decision making of the company. KPL International Limited is engaged in international business, specializing in sourcing, marketing, supply chain facilitation and distribution of Chemicals, Polymers, Paper, and Equipment & Allied Products.
Mrs. Kanoria also anchors the CSR activities of Kanoria Chemicals & Industries Limited, a group company, where she not only helps in formulating the areas of activities and the type of intervention, but also supervises a number of community development projects in areas such as, watershed management and skill based employment generation.
She is one of the Founder Trustee of Sambhava Foundation, which was established in the year 2008 with the objective of empowering girls and women through education and vocational skills.
Mrs. Kanoria is a past President of the FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), an arm of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industries. She is the Vice Chairperson of the SAARC Chamber Women Entrepreneurs Council (SCWEC).
Mr. Rajya Vardhan Kanoria, MBA (Honours) from IMD, Switzerland, and Advanced Management Programme from Wharton, USA, has four decades of experience in the chemicals, textiles and jute industries. He is the Chairman & Managing Director of Kanoria Chemicals & Industries Ltd. He has a keen interest in Global Trade Issues and has contributed extensively to the cause of multilateralism.

He serves on the Board of several companies. Has several media articles to his credit. He is the recipient of Swiss Ambassador’s Award for Leadership and Business Ethics, 2013. He has also been bestowed with the Distinction of Commander of the Order of Leopold II by the King of Belgium for his contribution to the development of business ties between India and Belgium.
